The Toledo Club in the Community

The Toledo Club, a private athletic and social club, located in the downtown has a long history of excellence. The Toledo Club also has a strong connection to the community and "gives back" to local organizations in a variety of ways.

Many club events benefit local organizations

Since 1988, the annual Party in the Parking Lot has shared proceeds with the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo and The Toledo Zoo.

Every year, Boxing Night raises funds for the International Boxing Club of Toledo.

Thanks to the generous donations from members, all branches of the military are honored at the Armed Services Dinner.  Guests from the United States Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Gold Star Wifes of Toledo and UT ROTC members are treated to a wonderful dinner in the Main Dining Room.

The Annual Parade of Trees has raised upwards of $80,000 for the historical preservation of The Toledo Club and for a variety of charities. Last year, organizations and individuals donated 46 trees and are allowed to designate the recipient of those proceeds. Consequently, The Toledo Club was able to support 33 non-profit organizations.

The membership is very active in the community and supports various local organizations.
The squashers hold an annual Charity Open to benefit Cherry Street Mission and the runners group participate in the Race for the Cure.  The Club also sponsors the Santa 5K run benefiting the Uptown Green Park.
